Once again this year, Indiana Wesleyan University is providing students in area schools with free bags of personal hygiene products during the August 1 First Friday Celebration in downtown Marion.
These bags are designed to supplement the school supplies that several churches donate each year. Each bag contains a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, dental floss, soap and deodorant.
“Faculty, staff and administrators worked for weeks to put these packets together,” said Roger Alcock, director of the Office of Events. “We really appreciate the chance to serve our hometown.”
Students can pick up the bags at the IWU First Friday booth.
